Detailing - Water Spot Removal

Prevent the buildup of hard water spots first by making sure that your vehicle is washed with softened, treated water and waxed frequently. Water spots develop from chemical impurities in the air, ground and water that are introduced to your vehicle from rain, hoses, sprinklers or misters. Heat from the sun can bake the water spots onto your vehicle’s finish making them particularly hard to remove. Special dissolving agents must be used that are designed specifically to cut through the chemicals found in hard water spots. HARD WATER SPOTS CANNOT BE REMOVED THROUGH SIMPLE WASHING. Once water spots are properly removed, the vehicle should be washed and waxed, paint sealed or both to protect the cleaned surface once again and leave a high gloss finish. VERIFY THE QUALITY OF WATER BEING USED TO WASH YOUR VEHICLE.
